Oregon Tenant Notice of Intent to Vacate

Use this form for ordinary tenant termination or fixed-term departure. Use a separate notice for any statutory early-termination right.

Oregon Timing Gate

ORS 90.427 permits a tenant to terminate a week-to-week tenancy by written notice at least 10 days before the termination date stated in the notice. A tenant may terminate a month-to-month tenancy by written notice not less than 30 days before the date designated in the notice. ORS 90.100(19) defines a fixed-term tenancy as continuing to a specified ending date and terminating on that date without further notice, but the lease and any renewal clause should still be checked.
