Alaska Tenant Notice of Intent to Vacate

Use this form for an ordinary end-of-term or periodic-tenancy departure. Do not use it to claim a protected early-termination right; use the separate notice and documentation required for that ground.

Alaska Timing Gate

Alaska's Department of Law explains that a month-to-month tenant must give written notice at least 30 days before the rental due date stated as the termination date. A week-to-week tenant must give at least 14 days' written notice before the stated termination date. A fixed-term tenant should review the lease and must not use this form to leave before the term ends without a separate lawful basis or written agreement.
