Arkansas Tenant Notice of Intent to Vacate

Use this form for an ordinary end-of-term or periodic-tenancy departure. Use a separate, ground-specific notice for any protected early termination.

Arkansas Timing Gate

Ark. Code Ann. § 18-17-704 permits either party to terminate a week-to-week tenancy by written notice at least 7 days before the termination date stated in the notice, and a month-to-month tenancy by written notice at least 30 days before the stated termination date. The section does not require the month-to-month date to be a periodic rent-due date. A fixed-term nonrenewal must be checked against the lease and other current law.
