[// GUIDANCE: This notice is governed by Connecticut General Statutes §§ 47a-23 et seq. Connecticut requires specific notice periods depending on whether rent was properly due: (1) If the tenant has a written lease that specifies the day rent is due and includes a provision allowing termination for nonpayment, a THREE (3) day notice is sufficient; (2) Otherwise, a reasonable notice (typically NINE (9) days or more) may be required. This template uses the three-day notice format. Verify the lease provisions and current statutory requirements before use.]
