Self-represented litigants using the electronic submission system must upload a scan of each document bearing an original signature.

“Users must sign each document submitted via EDSS for filing. Documents not signed by a party will not be accepted for filing. Electronic signatures are not sufficient. The original signature pages must be scanned and uploaded through EDSS.”

Service of sealed documents cannot be completed through CM/ECF; use another method allowed by the procedural rules.

To obtain an additional copy of a sealed document, a party with access must contact the clerk’s office.

“A party with permission to access a sealed document in a case who requires a copy of a sealed document will contact the Clerk’s Office to request a copy.”
