SECTION 9: MISSOURI WATERCRAFT REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT MISSOURI REQUIREMENTS:

Per Mo. Rev. Stat. § 306.030 and Missouri DOR regulations:

1. Missouri law requires all motorized vessels, sailboats over 12 feet, and gasoline-powered outboard motors to be titled within 60 days of purchase.

2. All motorized watercraft must be registered with the state prior to use on Missouri waters.

3. Personal watercraft (jet skis), motorized water bikes, and vessels over 12 feet powered by sail are included in titling requirements.

4. A delinquent title penalty of $10 per 30 days (maximum $30) applies to late titling.
