Indiana Practice Note: Under IC 26-1-2-316, to effectively disclaim the implied warranty of merchantability, the disclaimer must mention "merchantability" and, if in writing, must be conspicuous. INDIANA LEMON LAW NOTICE (IC 24-5-13):

Indiana's Motor Vehicle Protection Act (Lemon Law) applies to new motor vehicles that develop nonconformities substantially impairing the use, market value, or safety of the vehicle. SECTION 9: INDIANA WATERCRAFT REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT INDIANA REQUIREMENTS:

Per IC 9-31 (Watercraft Titling and Registration) and Indiana BMV regulations:

All motorized watercraft and sailboats over certain lengths operated on Indiana waters must be titled and registered with the Indiana BMV.
Title Transfer Deadline: Buyer must apply for a Certificate of Title within 45 days of purchase. A $30 late penalty applies per IC 9-17-3-3.5.
