7. NEW HAMPSHIRE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
7.1 Written Wage Notification (RSA 275:49)
This offer letter serves as the required written notification under RSA 275:49. By signing this letter, you acknowledge receipt of the following information:

10. NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE NOTES
- At-Will Doctrine: New Hampshire follows at-will employment with a public policy exception. See Cloutier v. Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., 121 N.H. 915 (1981).
- Written Wage Notice (RSA 275:49): MANDATORY — Employer must provide written notice of pay rate and payday at hire; employee must sign. Changes require written notice and employee signature.
- Wage Payment (RSA 275:43): Wages must be paid weekly or bi-weekly.
- Minimum Wage (RSA 279:21): Verify current rate; New Hampshire follows the federal minimum wage when the state rate equals or is lower.
- Non-Compete Restrictions (RSA 275:70-a): Must be provided before or at time of offer; prohibited for low-wage workers.
