7. MISSOURI-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
7.1 Earned Paid Sick Time (Mo. Rev. Stat. § 290.527)
Under Missouri's earned paid sick time law, you will accrue paid sick time at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked. For employers with 15+ employees, the cap is 56 hours/year. For employers with fewer than 15 employees, the cap is 40 hours/year. Sick time may be used for your own illness, a family member's care, domestic violence, stalking, or public health emergencies.

10. MISSOURI STATE NOTES
- At-Will Doctrine: Missouri follows at-will employment through common law with exceptions for public policy and implied contract.
