1. DOCUMENT HEADER & JURISDICTION STATEMENT

1.1 Effective Date. This Answer is timely filed within the statutory response period (currently 14 calendar days from the date of service) as required under Oregon small-claims procedure.

1.2 Jurisdiction. Defendant appears in the Small Claims Department of the above-captioned court and submits to its limited jurisdiction, subject to all defenses, objections, and motions that may be made.

3.2 Affirmative Defenses
