IOWA CORPORATION REINSTATEMENT, REVIVAL, AND REVIVOR PACKET
No fixed application cutoff in § 490.1422. A domestic business corporation administratively dissolved under § 490.1421 may apply at any time after dissolution, but the name rules change when the application arrives more than five years later.
Scope gate. Excludes voluntary or judicial dissolution, foreign revocation, nonprofit or professional corporations, merger, conversion, insolvency, and disputed-control matters.

Attach the Secretary of State entity record, dissolution certificate and notice, filing history, articles and amendments, bylaws, stock ledger, reports, and evidence curing each dissolution ground.
2. SECTION 490.1422 APPLICATION
The application states the corporation's name at dissolution, the dissolution effective date, and that each ground did not exist or has been eliminated. If received more than five years after dissolution, it must also state a corporate name satisfying § 490.401.
