GEORGIA CORPORATION ANNUAL COMPLIANCE AND GOOD-STANDING PACKET
Scope. Use for a Georgia or registered foreign corporation's annual registration and Secretary of State status evidence. Tax returns, licenses, regulated-industry renewals, and local filings are outside this packet.
Source note. Georgia's official Code host did not expose operative Title 14 text through the approved fetch path. This packet is grounded in the current official Secretary of State rule and filing materials and makes no unsupported Code-subsection claim.

Official Rule 590-7-4 requires a newly formed domestic corporation's initial registration within 90 days, except that an entity formed after October 1 files between January 1 and April 1 of the following year. A newly qualified foreign corporation first files between January 1 and April 1 of the following calendar year. Recurring registrations are filed between January 1 and April 1.

☐ Reminder receipt is not used as the only calendar control.
3. MULTIYEAR REGISTRATION GATE
Rule 590-7-4 permits a corporation to designate a one-, two-, or three-calendar-year registration period and pay the required amount for each covered year. Its next registration is due between January 1 and April 1 of the first year after that period ends.
| Registration period selected | Years covered | Next due year |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ One year ☐ Two years ☐ Three years | [________] through [________] | [________] |
☐ No future year is marked paid unless included in the accepted registration and receipt.
☐ Planned dissolution, withdrawal, or merger-out is reviewed before prepaying future years because the rule makes annual-registration fees nonrefundable.

About This Template
Corporate documents govern how a company makes decisions, records them, and handles disputes between owners, directors, and officers. Proper corporate paperwork is what lets a business take advantage of limited liability, pass clean audits, and survive an acquisition or investor review. Skipping formalities like written resolutions and signed consents is one of the fastest ways for a business owner to lose personal asset protection.
