Lochner v. New York
Is it still good law? What later courts have actually done to this case.

Day-Brite Lighting rejected a liberty-of-contract challenge because sustaining it would require returning to Lochner's approach; Griswold declined an invitation to use Lochner as its guide. In Ferguson v. Skrupa, the Court expressly described Lochner's doctrine as discarded. The West Coast Hotel majority expressly overruled Adkins, while its own controlling text does not name Lochner. A Kansas opinion that questioned Lochner was reversed by the Supreme Court in Chas. Wolff Packing Co. v. Court of Industrial Relations and is not counted as a surviving treatment.
1,234 later cases cite Lochner v. New York; 74 of those citations sat close to treatment language and were flagged for reading, and all of them have been read. Citations that did not sit near treatment language were not flagged and were not read one by one, so a court that weakened this case without using any of that language would not appear here.
