1. DOCUMENT HEADER
REMOTE WORK AGREEMENT
This Remote Work Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] (the "Effective Date") by and between:

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter set forth and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows:
2. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
"Business Hours" means [Employer's standard business hours, e.g., 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the [Time Zone] time zone], or such other hours as may be agreed upon in writing.
"Company Equipment" means all hardware, software, devices, and technology provided by Employer for Employee's use in performing job duties.
"Confidential Information" means all non-public information, whether oral, written, electronic, or other form, relating to Employer's business, including trade secrets, customer data, financial information, business strategies, and proprietary technology.
"Core Hours" means the designated hours during which Employee must be available for synchronous communication, as specified in Section 4.2.
"Employment Agreement" means the underlying employment agreement, offer letter, or other employment arrangement between the Parties.
"Remote Work Location" means the primary location from which Employee will perform remote work, as specified in Section 3.2.
"Workspace" means the physical area within the Remote Work Location where Employee performs job duties.
3. REMOTE WORK ARRANGEMENT TERMS
3.1 Authorization of Remote Work
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Employer authorizes Employee to work remotely from the Remote Work Location. This authorization is at Employer's discretion and may be modified or revoked as set forth in Section 13.

5.4 Dependent Care

6. EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY
6.1 Company-Provided Equipment

6.2 Employee-Owned Equipment

7. DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

7.3 Confidentiality Obligations
Employee's confidentiality obligations under the Employment Agreement and any separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement remain in full force and effect. Working remotely does not diminish or alter these obligations.
7.4 Incident Reporting
Employee shall immediately report any security incidents, including:
- Lost or stolen devices
- Suspected unauthorized access
- Phishing attempts
- Data breaches or potential data exposure
- Malware or virus infections

14. RISK ALLOCATION
14.1 Insurance

(b) Employee Property: Employer is NOT responsible for damage to Employee's personal property, including damage caused by Company Equipment
(c) Homeowner's/Renter's Insurance: Employee should consult with their insurance provider regarding coverage for home office activities
14.2 Limitation of Liability
Except as required by applicable law, Employer's liability under this Agreement shall be limited to direct damages and shall not include any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
14.3 Indemnification
Employee shall indemnify and hold Employer harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
(a) Employee's negligent use of Company Equipment
(b) Employee's violation of this Agreement
(c) Third-party claims related to Employee's Remote Work Location (excluding workers' compensation claims)
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
15.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Forum Selection
Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [City, State].
15.3 Arbitration (Optional)

No amendment or modification of this Agreement shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both Parties.
16.3 Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.4 Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition shall constitute a waiver of any other term or condition or a continuing waiver.
16.5 Assignment
Employee may not assign this Agreement without Employer's prior written consent. Employer may assign this Agreement to a successor entity.
16.6 Notices
All notices under this Agreement shall be in writing and sent to the addresses set forth in the Document Header, or such other address as either Party may designate in writing.
16.7 No Change in Employment Status
This Agreement does not alter Employee's employment status, including at-will employment (if applicable), compensation, benefits, or position.
16.8 Counterparts
This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original.
16.9 Electronic Signatures
Signatures transmitted electronically shall be deemed original signatures.
17. EXECUTION BLOCK
By signing below, the Parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Remote Work Agreement.
