9. SOUTH CAROLINA-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
9.1 Wage Payment Act Notice (S.C. Code Ann. § 41-10-30)
South Carolina law requires that at the time of hire, the employer shall notify each employee in writing of the following:
- Normal hours and wages agreed upon
- The time and place of payment
- Deductions that will be made from wages, including payments to insurance programs
