Summary An OSHA regional official told compliance staff that interim guidance and temporary variances for anti-two-blocking cranes hoisting personnel had expired. The memorandum said the 1988 personnel platform final rule was in full effect for inspections and consultation. OSHA now archives the memorandum as potentially outdated.
