Background. UIPL 07-97 described the requirement that States submit proposed and enacted unemployment compensation legislation, as well as other materials, to the Department of Labor as a condition of receipt of administrative grants. This notice appeared on page 60689 of the Federal Register dated October 12, 2000, Volume 65, Number 198. Approval for the extension of collection of the MA 8-7 has been received from OMB and is effective through April 30, 2004.
