About Judge O'Sullivan
John J. O'Sullivan served as a U.S. magistrate judge in the Miami Division of the Southern District of Florida beginning in 1999. Before joining the bench, he led the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. He earned a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and later served as the district's chief magistrate judge.
